The PRERNA project, implemented by International Development Enterprises (iDE) Nepal
with local implementing partner LI-BIRD in Kaski and ASK-Nepal in Syangja aims to
enhance biofertilizer production and accessibility for farmers in Kaski and Syangja districts.
The baseline report analyzes agricultural trends, farming practices, and fertilizer use, focusing
on TVC adoption and market potential while assessing household income, vegetable
production, government extension services, TVC enterprise development potential, and
knowledge dissemination. The study covered Madi and Machhapuchchhre rural
municipalities in Kaski and Galyang &Waling Municipalities in Syangja. The study
employed a mixed-method approach, integrating both qualitative and quantitative data
collection.
