Central Department of Geography, Tribhuvan University

The Central Department of Geography (CDG) is located in the University Campus; Kirtipur is one of the leading Departments of Tribhuvan University. It was formally established in 1959. Since then, it has been actively serving the country in higher education and research. The department runs Masters and PhD Programme in Geography.
Central Department of Geography, Tribhuvan University is an alliance of COALRP since 2007 and jointly it has been conducting research.


Department of Development Studies, Kathmandu University

Department of Development studies, is situated at Kathmandu University, school of Arts. The department have been running master programs in Developments Studies and Human Natural and Resource Management.

Nepal Centre for Contemporary Research

Nepal Centre for Contemporary Research (NCCR) is a Kathmandu based not for profit sharing research organization. NCCR is engaged in theoretical, policy and action oriented research in collaboration with different international research institutes and universities mainly in the areas of agriculture and agrarian change, resource governance, livelihood, public policies, conflict and peace, migration and mobility, human security (food, water, health and environment), service delivery and state building


Nepal Institute of Development Studies

NIDS (Nepal Institute of Development Studies), a non governmental research organization established in 1998, has been focusing on prioritized issues which are associated to development of the country. NIDS contributes to the development process by conducting research, implementing effective programs to create environment through initiation, facilitation and coordination of activities and networking/lobbying and advocating on equitable development strategies


Community Self Reliance Center

Community Self Reliance Center (CSRC) is a practice based non-governmental organization established in 1993. CSRC have been working at both grass root level and policy level with the goal of land for land poor families and their secure livelihood. The main mission of the organization is to empower land-poor women and men enabling them to claim and exercise their basic rights, including right to land resources, contributing to eradicating poverty and injustice. COLARP and CSRC has been conduction research in the thematic area of land and its rights.
