COLARP is supporting local governments to conduct land context mapping, as well as risk-Sensitive land use planning under the ILC supported NES program. This year, aligning with the objective of Land Issue Resolving Commission (LIRC), COLARP is assisting Gauriganga Municipality, Kailali, Sudhurpaschim Province in collecting and validating the data of Landless Dalits Landless Squatter, and Informal Settlements to provide land ownership to the actual tenant. Therefore, as one of the activities of assistance, to collect the data COLARP assisted the municipality to conduct enumerator training.<\/p>\n

The 2-day training was organized at the municipal hall on 15th<\/sup>\u00a0and 16th<\/sup>\u00a0December 2020. The Major objectives of the enumerator training were:<\/p>\n

  1. To inform about the objective of the survey, enumerator role, and responsibility.<\/li>\n
  2. To develop enumerator capacity by strengthening the knowledge about identifying and validating the Landless Dalits Landless Squatter, and Informal Settlers.<\/li>\n
