Enumerator Training on Landless Dalits Landless Squatter, and Informal Settlers Data Collection and Validation

COLARP is supporting local governments to conduct land context mapping, as well as risk-Sensitive land use planning under the ILC supported NES program. This year, aligning with the objective of Land Issue Resolving Commission (LIRC), COLARP is assisting Bhajani Municipality, Kailali, Sudhurpaschim Province in collecting and validating the data of Landless Dalits Landless Squatter, and Informal Settlements to provide land ownership to the actual tenant. Therefore, as one of the activities of assistance, to collect the data COLARP assisted the municipality to conduct enumerator training.

The 2-day training was organized at the municipal hall on 16^th and 17^th March 2021. The Major objectives of the enumerator training were:

1. To inform about the objective of the survey, enumerator role, and responsibility.
2. To develop enumerator capacity by strengthening the knowledge about identifying and validating the Landless Dalits Landless Squatter, and Informal Settlers.
3. To familiarize all questions of the questionnaires (2 sets) and clarify the confusion.
